He should have known it wouldn’t last.   Being spared eternity in the Empty by a reformed Darkness doesn’t guarantee sunshine and roses in your immediate future even if you did just save the world.  Again.  Because that would be too fucking simple.

A week in the bunker would’ve done.  To deal with the fact that his mother is alive.  To let her ease into this new reality.

But no.  There’s blood on the floor and Sam’s missing.  Taken.  Thinking Dean can’t come for him this time.

Mom’s a hunter.  Just like riding a bike, right?  They’ve got work to do.
