So, I finished the drabbles (and one 700 word ficlet because 100 wasn't doing it) for the lovely and generous ephermeralk .  We've got some Sam/Jess with background Sam/Dean.  Some John being a bad dad in a gen way.  Some Bad!Sam/Dean.  Some Azazel!John/Dean.  And last and longest some angsty Sam/Dean schmoop.  I hope you like them sweetie!

The numbered items are the prompts I was writing from.


Pairing: Sam/Jess, Background Sam/Dean
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: hints of dub-con.

1) Sam likes Jess because she's everything that Dean's not. Self-assured, and she never feels in the least bit guilty to fuck him.

Sam’s hardly a virgin, but sex with Jess is a revelation. They’re a perfect match, it seems, Sam’s body slotting neatly into hers, Jess matching him movement for movement, her hands roaming his body enthusiastically as his caress her silky skin.   There’s no complicated maneuvering; she invites him into her bed willingly. They’ll need it someday, John tells himself, tipping the bottle just enough to send liquid foaming into two small plastic cups. He takes a swallow himself, bitter icy liquid flowing down his throat. He’s already craving something stronger but he’s been away too long and that can wait. He’s spending tonight with his boys.

Dean’s developing a taste for it, only grimacing a little as he gulps his cup dry. Sam’s face tells a different story, disgust obvious between miniscule sips.

Beer’s the mildest thing John can think of to take the edge off. Best to get them started early.

3) Sam likes Deans cock. Period. But most of all when it's making Dean scream.

5) Sam knows this place isn't real. Because heaven would definitely involve the first time that he fucked Dean.

“Two-seventy-one Edgewood Avenue, Apartment thirty-five,” Sam says into the soul crushing silence. “In Billings.”

Dean doesn’t look up from the blood encrusted gun he’s cleaning. “What about it?”

“What about….” Sam’s heart stops for a moment. Maybe it’s not Dean’s idea of…but it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t. It was Sam’s and the only thing that matters is making his brother believe it. “It was the first place I did this.” Sam pulls his brother to his feet, ignoring the warning in Dean’s eyes, and presses their lips together. Breaking contact, he rests his forehead against Dean’s, breathing his air. “And this.” One hand snakes under the waistband of Dean’s jeans, resting warm and heavy against his soft cock. “It was the first place I laid you down and kissed you and opened you up all hot and slow. The first place I fucked you.”

Dean shifts as though to move away and Sam hooks the fingers of his free hand through Dean’s belt loops and pulls him toward the bed. Dean doesn’t resist as his brother strips him but except for kicking his boots off after Sam unlaces them, he doesn’t help either, staring at Sam silently for a few long moments before settling onto the garishly colored coverlet. Sam stretches out beside him, determined to wipe the hurt from his brother’s eyes.

“Remember how nervous we were?” Sam’s nuzzling Dean’s jaw as his hand wanders down his brother’s tense belly to slide between his thighs. “How we didn’t know what the hell we were doing except for how much we wanted to do it?”

“You knew,” Dean mutters with a small gasp as his dick thickens in Sam’s talented hand.

“Mmmmm,” Sam says, nipping a bruise into Dean’s neck. “Might have looked into it a little.” He grips Dean’s chin and kisses him again. “I wanted it to be good, you know? I wanted it to be perfect.”

Dean groans and spreads his legs wider as Sam’s hand slip-slides around his shaft, but the expression on his face doesn’t change. Sam slicks up his fingers and slides them lower, lightly circling Dean’s hole before slow, steady pressure breaches it, sending one thick digit inside.   Sam’s careful, easy, it’s been a long time since they’ve done this and hurting Dean is the last thing he wants to do.  

“There was, oh, fuck, Sam, a waterstain on the ceiling shaped like a St. Bernard.”

“That’s what you remember?” Sam’s ecstatic that Dean’s getting involved here, but his pissy tone is only half joking.

“Spent most of that summer on my back staring up at it, didn’t I?”

Sam relaxes a fraction because Dean’s voice is lighter but it’s not all the way back. He adds another finger, scissoring and twisting and rubbing over Dean’s sweet spot until his breaths come in panting gasps and he’s writhing against Sam. Easing out, Sam locks eyes with his brother. “Okay?” he asks and with Dean’s terse nod Sam cants his brother’s hips up and works his way inside, the familiar feeling of Dean’s tight heat around his cock stealing his breath away. They don’t speak again but their bodies move in unison, as a team, as in sync as they’ve ever been. Dean comes first, screaming out his release like he always does and Sam follows right behind, shuddering out his orgasm with bitten back cries.   They don’t move after, staring at each other in silence for what seems like hours. “So, uh…” he clears his throat as his eyes shift away and then back. “Was it perfect?”

Sam takes a moment and a deep breath. He sees Dean’s answer to that question in the depths of his eyes and his own answer has to be just right. Dean has to know that what Zachariah showed them was a lie, that it was intended to break them apart and that they can’t let it happen. He smiles and runs his thumb along Dean’s lips, lets his brother see the peace and happiness in his own eyes. Dean relaxes beneath him and lifts a hand to tangle his fingers in Sam’s hair before he even gets the words out.

“It was heaven.”

haha, I'm going to try to be coherent here, but no promises. My throat's all stopped up from all of this beauty that you released on me at once.

1) I love me some Sam/Jess, but with background Dean. That is OTP perfection, right there. That no matter how perfect, how amazing she was, she will simply, never be Dean. No matter how refreshing it might be.

2)That right there? That rationalization from John is so in character, it's practically frightening. And Dean, poor Dean chugging it down, doing his best for his Dad, and Sammy, as bitch-faced as always. Neither of them knowing the ramifications of a drinking, besides that which there Dad has shown them...

4)The demon conversation in his head, how Dean's there, but John's the real focus. How John's fighting, but already knows the battle's lost. That. That is AMAZING.

5) eeee!!!! A FICLET TOO!! Ok. No memories of Dean in heaven has always bothered me, and you. You just made it all ok. Better than okay. Because how perfect is it that Sam remembers the exact address out of ALL the places they were. The hints of first time nervousness ( I love, that, love it), and that Dean remembers the stain on the ceiling. Those little things made me fall in love with these two all over again. And Dean still being nervous about whether it was good all these years later. AND YOUR END SENTENCE-- ♥ ♥

Number five was beautiful! I loved it--what a marvelous fix for that painful ep.

number one was so unsettling, at the end. Totally not what I expected, and it turned that whole, "Sam sort of kind of sometimes compares Jess to Dean" trope right on its head. oy!

Number two was TERRIBLE!! As in heart-stopping, ungodly bad parenting terrible. The writing was *brilliant*!

I closed my eyes on number three and winced my way through four--that was powerful, as well.

Yeah, that first one didn't come out the way I expected either. Sam just insisted on seeing Dean that way. :) I'm happy when I can turn a trope on its head, though. Doesn't happen often but I love it when it does!

I really don't know which one of these is my favorite. DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!!! I love them all. From the dubconish over the I'm-gonna-kick-you-John to the delicious evil!Sam and I freaking love all fics where Azazel confronts John with what's right in front of him. AND THE LAST ONE!!
